Our morning was filled with greens, coffee, and rain. Tegallalang rice terraces is one of 2 famous terraces in Bali. We had our semi-lunch here while waiting for the rain to stop.

Gunung Kawi Temple

  • Entrance Fee: 30,000 IDR (~2.20 USD)
Gunung Full View
The full view of the pond from one side.

The Gunung Kawi temple grounds have several ponds with colorful Kois. I envy the fishes somehow, that they are just having peace in their own world. Effortless. How I wish I can be more like them.

Bali Pulina Coffee Plantation

Luwak
Meet the Luwak Coffee producer, the Civet Cat (this creature bites by the way, dangerous!).

The place showcases how coffee is made. It also features the Civet cat, the producer of the most expensive coffee, or one of the most expensive, in the world, the Luwak Coffee. This animal can be dangerous as it can attack people. We had the option to taste the Luwak coffee and pay 50,000 IDR (~4 USD) but we just did not take it.

Luwak Coffee
The world’s most expensive coffee, or one of the most expensive in the world, the Luwak Coffee, and this is $65

Coffee Break
If it was not raining, it would have been a great idea to sip even the most expensive coffee on this deck.
