About Me

My name is Liza (pronounced as ‘Lai-zah) and I would like to see all the beauty that the world offers. I am a bit of an amazing-race kind of traveler. I prefer mountains over beaches because I fall in love with landscapes, but it does not mean that I won’t go for snorkeling as I am likewise amazed by what is under the waters, although I think I would give scuba diving a pass.

Ha Long Peep
Ha Long Bay, 2016. Me taking advantage of the boat and the bay.

I believe in being able to maximize the trip without having to spend a lot, hence, I normally plan ahead and research my own travels. I am sort of a mid-range camera, I am neither a super backpacker nor a luxurious traveler. Instead, I am in between. Speaking of camera, yes, I love taking photos and I would really like to showcase them here.

My priority food when I travel is the destination’s local food since I also believe that the culture lies heavily behind the local dishes.

Behind Liberty
Circa 2010, was just saying hi to Lady Liberty and asked her to keep still.

It was in early June of 2006 when I maximized my first point-and-shoot camera, Casio Exilim z750, in the US for a business trip, which also sparked my love for traveling. I just can’t get enough!

I have colored off the places I have been so far. I have still a lot to cover and see!

The entire country may be shaded but I have only been to some states/cities in that country, especially US (please see US map below for the actual states I have been).
The specific states I have visited in the United States.

Welcome to my photo-blog and join me as I share my travel stories (which you can probably use, too), our bloopers, and perhaps some of my recommendations or tips. Enjoy!
