Penang Street Art

  • Fee: Totally free but needs a lot of energy…and water!
The biggest and longest street art we have ever seen, which was not in the map but near the pier. Me and my Dad just accidentally saw it from the main street.

To hunt for the famous street arts in Penang made the visit more exciting. We (me and Dad) started early on our last day so we could cover a lot. We were given a map to locate the wall arts around the town. I thought they could just be found in one street but the arts were spread everywhere in Georgetown. A struggle we had was that it was a little bit raining here and there but we were absolutely doing just fine. We almost forgot that it was even raining at all! We still challenged ourselves to find those “treasures.” I definitely found it fun!

Therefore, may I now present to you, my Dad and the street art.

I was so sure that Dad got tired from the hunting, walking, and posing but I was also sure he had fun reacting with the paintings. And you’d think we’re done with the museum? Nah, one more kind of museum we visited was the Upside Down Museum. As the name implies, it was an upside down world down there. We didn’t understand the photos until we flipped them vertically. T’was quite fun!
