Thien Viên Truc Lam
- Cable Car fee: 70,000 VND (~3.50 USD)
Pagoda fee across the cable car entrance: 15,000 VND (~0.75 USD)
I chose this because I read that it connects the main area to a monastery. However, we were satisfied with just riding the cable car and savoring the cool wind and the refreshing view.
Datanla Falls
- Entrance fee: 20,000 VND (~1 USD)
Toboggan ride: 40,000 one-way (~2 USD), 50,000 two-way (~2.50 USD)
Da Lat features a lot of waterfalls and this is one of their most famous ones, probably also the most accessible. There were a couple of ways to access and leave the falls: by trekking the hill or by the Toboggan ride. I was thrilled by the Toboggan ride because it seems like a rollercoaster but you have full control over it. Unfortunately, the Toboggan ride going back to the base broke. We were still hopeful and were willing to wait until we felt that it was really taking too long to fix the problem (considering the tight schedule that we had). Then everyone started to tread the hiking trail up. And so did we, for about 20 minutes. While still panting, we went to get our refund of 10,000 VND (~0.50 USD).
Crazy House
- Entrance fee: 40,000 VND (~2 USD)
This is the most interesting place I have been to when it comes to odd architectural designs. We walked into the building, out of the windows I think, on the rooftops, on the walls, then again back into the buildings. You can get lost due to somehow entangled stairs. Amazingly weird!
Valley of Love is also very amazing, full of beautiful flower and some traditional customs will be performed too 🙂
I should definitely visit that next time. 🙂
Dalat in my heart 😀
