Embarcadero

Just a section of Embarcadero’s shoreline.

Embarcadero is a long stretch including the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge or just Bay Bridge up until Pier 45. This area features tons of interesting and exciting attractions that makes it a favorite among tourists and locals alike.

A friend was kind enough to bring us around scenic Embarcadero while enjoying the breeze and and the seascape. It was just a relaxing day for everyone and it wasn’t also too tiring for the senior citizens.

The San Francisco–Oakland Bay Bridge, locally known as Bay Bridge.
The pier that allows a good walk and has a view deck at the end.

My favorite spots include the Pier 14 with an amazing view of the bridge, the Embarcadero Plaza with works of art, and the Fisherman’s Wharf.

Walking on Pier 14 has a grand view of the Bay Bridge.

For those who love walking, this shoreline is the best place to be. I didn’t actually feel I was walking a lot since my eyes were also busy with left and right attractions under a fine weather.

There’s so much more to explore in this city like hiking to different vantage points of the Golden Gate Bridge, tour the historical Alcatraz Island, hug the giant redwood trees, and enjoy the coastline more. Well, God-willing, may there be another chance to enjoy the city’s cool breeze.
